It’s been a busy year for husband-and-wife design team Kristopher Brock and Laura Vassar Brock. In November, they were named winners of the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, infusing their three-year-old business with a $400,000 cash injection and business mentorship. The couple met as students at Parsons School of Design. She had worked as a stylist, training under Petra Flannery in Los Angeles before going back to school; he was tailor. They launched Brock Collection for fall 2014 on the premise of romanticized, upscale wardrobe staples.
